As Americans we can feel proud about our response to the tragedy in Haiti. Whether you helped through your donations, prayers, or sending good juju, you were a part of a huge relief effort.
After seeing pictures and reading first-hand accounts of the devastation and human suffering, many people wish they could do more.
Which is why I am excited about joining 40 other Minnesota bloggers tomorrow night at Feed My Starving Children (You've got to love a name that leaves you with such little doubt.) to pack meals that will be airlifted to Haiti. Doing something tangible feels really good to me. Especially when I can't be there to dig people out of the rubble.
I'm very much looking forward to meeting so many talented bloggers and working together to make a difference. Too bad I already have a stomach ache about having to introduce myself. What am I going to wear? What looks good with a hair net?
Huge thanks to Missy at Marketing Mama for her ideas and leadership in putting this event together.
