When I hear other mothers complaining about how their 2-year old won't stop talking and it's driving them crazy, I have to stifle the urge to throttle them. It's becoming increasingly difficult for me to listen politely as I'm told, "Once they start, they never stop!". Um, yeah... that would actually be great. Thanks.
I realize that everyone has the right to complain, no matter the circumstances. For example, this morning I was complaining about the ugly curtains in my house, but really I should be thankful I even have a house in which ugly can hang. I'm being super hypocritical, but OMG, please shut up about your kid not shutting up!
Henry's new three-word sentences are music to my ears and I wouldn't care if he wanted to stay up all night talking about the same thing over and over, because it makes me so happy to hear his words and thoughts. We still have a long way to go, but I have him on a hefty dose of essential fatty acids, which really does wonders for kids with Apraxia and SID. You can read all about it over at the Cherab Foundation.
My father came through Minneapolis last week and took Henry to see the Doodlebops. Never heard of them? They are only the hottest Canadian rock n' rollers to ever hit the Disney Channel.
