We had three play dates canceled this past week due to colds and flu. And Henry and I are in for it after eating cake that a birthday boy sneezed all over this afternoon. (It takes more than a little snot for me to pass on cake.) It's so sad when little noses are stuffed up and even more sad when there is nothing you can do to help. Now that cough and cold medications are no longer recommended what is a mom to do?
Now there is an alternative: Sinupret For Kids

Meet Parker Piano. Isn't he cute? He teaches basic music concepts through songs and interactive play. Press his arms or feet and sing-along to 8 different songs. Parker Piano helped Henry learn how to sing the Itsy Bitsy Spider in perfect pitch. I'd have to set up a hidden camera to prove it though. He still prefers behind the scenes.

Perhaps it shows my age, but I think it's pretty cool that Henry will grow-up recycling. Watching him care about which bin his trash belongs in and what goes in the compost pile gives me hope for the future.
I have many bad habits that Henry is bound to pick up on, but one thing I hope he notices is that I like to do my part to help our planet. And that includes buying green products for my home and my family.
